When Does Solo Leveling Come Out?

Solo Leveling first debuted as a web novel on July 25, 2016, on Kakao's digital platform KakaoPage. The novel quickly gained popularity, garnering 2.4 million readers on KakaoPage alone. A webtoon adaptation illustrated by Jang Sung-rak (Dubu) began serialization on March 4, 2018, on KakaoPage. The webtoon's first season concluded on March 19, 2020, followed by its second season, which ran from August 2020 to December 2021. Both the novel and webtoon have been licensed in English by Yen Press, with the novel being published in collected volumes since February 16, 2021.

An anime television series adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures aired from January 7 to March 31, 2024. The series consisted of 12 episodes and was streamed internationally on Crunchyroll. The English dub of the anime was released on January 20, 2024, also available on Crunchyroll.

A second season of the anime, titled "Arise from the Shadow," has been announced, though a release date has not yet been specified. Additionally, a Korean drama adaptation is in development, and a spin-off webtoon called "Solo Leveling: Ragnarok" is set to premiere in 2024.

For fans of the franchise, a role-playing video game titled "Solo Leveling: Arise" is scheduled for release on May 8, 2024, for mobile and PC platforms.
